February has turned out to be a windy month so far, but guests are having a blast. A very popular destination at the moment is Anegada, so we have made a blog with more information of this beautiful island. Another highlight you have to see in the BVI is the Baths. Check out the video made in December 2017.

BEAUTIFUL LAGOON 50 TO ARRIVE IN 2019

PERFECT SAILING DESTINATION: ANEGADA

This season is a great time to sail to the island Anegada and spend a few days there, with dozens of secluded beaches, still as gorgeous as before. Most of the hotels and beach bars are also now open for business.


Apart from the beautiful white beaches, you also would like to see the flamingos, rock iguanas and rare plant species like sea lavender. The fantastic outer reef, Horseshoe Reef is rich in marine life and perfect for snorkeling or diving and dotted with shipwrecks. Anegada is the most scenic watersports playground in the region especially for kiteboarders and paddle boarders alike.

CREWED TANDEM CHARTERS

We often get inquiries for a crewed all-inclusive charter for a large group. With more than 10 guests (12 with families) it is very hard to fit everybody on one crewed yacht. Many of our clients with larger groups choose a tandem yacht charter instead, which means two or more yachts are chartered together throughout the week. These yachts will sail together, anchor within a short distance of one another, and provide some casual get-togethers throughout the charter week, based on your preferences.
  On tandem charters, the yachts will sail the same itinerary and can “race” with each other to get to the next anchorage. This truly allows for double the fun! At stops, guests can switch yachts to enjoy all of the amenities of both vessels. Two chefs, mean a wider variety of delicious cuisine and 2 charter yachts mean double the available water toys and sports. Tandem charters allow you even one more option for customizing your vacation.

HOG HEAVEN REOPENS IN MARCH

(opens in a new tab)Hog Heaven Bar & Grill on Virgin Gorda to Reopen in March! The reconstruction work is going well.

Hog Heaven is a small BBQ restaurant on top of the hill on Nail Bay Road with the most sensational view of the entire North Sound. It’s owned by Blondie, who is also a pig farmer on Virgin Gorda. Their BBQ food is delicious and reasonable priced. They are only a small taxi ride away from Leverick Bay and worth the trip!
